Villa Boccella

From sweeping lawns to grand living spaces, Villa Boccella (built in 1729) will make you feel as though you have stepped back into another era. Meticulously maintained throughout the centuries to keep its old-world Tuscan charm, yet updated with modern amenities, the Villa will welcome you as though you were a long-lost relative who went off to discover the New World. Here you can make yourself at home sitting by an evening fire or tucking yourself away in the library. Imagine yourself dancing in the Grand Ballroom late into the evening or simply strolling in the sweet morning air through the vineyard and olive groves still producing fine wine and oil today.

With its 11 bedrooms, many quaint sitting areas, amazing kitchen, where an Italian breakfast buffet will be served daily, grand dining room, solar-heated swimming pool, the villa has all you could want in a fine classic Tuscan-style Italian home. On all three levels you will find wonderful antiques and appointments fit for royalty. The third level contains the sleeping quarters with modern bathrooms and beautiful vistas from each window. Imagine waking in the morning to the sounds of gentle farm life from days gone by, then making your way beneath the stairs for that quintessential Italian cup of cappuccino.

The Villa is a 15-minute drive from Lucca, as well as a 10-minute walk to the village of G_______, where you can stroll, sit with an Italian pastry, and observe real Italian life.

We will have a driver at our disposal, a gentleman to build our fires, mid-week maid service for fresh linens, and an amazing masseuse who will come to the villa on request.
